Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at UTC
The Program of Physical Therapy at UTC is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and by the Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS) to award the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. The DPT program was honored to be the first doctoral program approved to be offered on the on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus, having recently been joined by two additional doctoral programs offering the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Engineering and the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Education.
