Transforming education in and through the arts

The Arts-Based Collaborative is a center under the College of Health, Education, and Professional Studies of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga that works in partnership with educators to develop and integrate arts-based learning experiences. By partnering with our teaching artists and arts specialists, we can provide customized arts learning experiences in art, music, dance, and drama to enrich and integrate with educators' goals or curriculum.

ABC works to provide equitable arts-based learning experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning and of all art forms. Bringing the arts into the classroom engages both learners and educators, creating joyful, active learning experiences for everyone. When students experience the arts, they grow in more than academics — they become better thinkers, collaborators, and leaders.
